YOUR NEW ROLE

As part of our continuous growth, particularly in the area of electric mobility, we are looking for a highly qualified full-stack developer to strengthen our agile software development team in Zurich. We're looking for someone who is a team player and works with a positive attitude and the ability to get things done. You'll be part of a small, agile team that works closely with operations and product teams to further develop and maintain the autoSense Charging Platform.

THE JOB IS JUST RIGHT FOR YOU IF YOU ENJOY COMPLETING THE FOLLOWING TASKS

  • You focus on creating backend services, but you also help build the frontend web user interface in the AWS cloud
  • You provide, monitor, support, and maintain these microservices
  • You work closely with the product and operations teams to develop new exciting solutions or improve existing solutions for our private and business customers
  • You ensure quality by conducting code reviews and proactively taking initiatives to revise or improve existing services.
  • You offer third-level support when needed
  • You are strong in documenting solutions

YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least 5 years of experience as a backend and/or full-stack developer working closely with NodeJS and TypeScript as well as good knowledge of API design, PostgreSQL and DynamoDB
  • Excellent knowledge of automated testing (unit, integration and E2E testing)
  • Release management experience
  • Experience with version control/git
  • Excellent written and spoken English language skills
  • Very good verbal communication skills
  • Good problem-solving skills and an eye for detail

ANOTHER ADVANTAGE

  • Knowledge of container-based services (Docker)
  • Experience developing with AWS services: including AWS ECS, Lambda, SNS, SQS, S3, RDS, and Redshift
  • Experience or willingness to learn DevOps practices (such as service monitoring, setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines)
  • Experience with “big data”, AI and ML technology is welcome
  • Experience with Dart and Flutter
  • Experience in data analysis
  • Possible experience as a team leader

HOW WE WORK

  • Daily deployment - we make daily commits and deploy multiple times a day using continuous delivery pipelines in production.
  • We work closely with product managers to define and plan new services.
  • We take advantage of microservices architecture.
  • We rely heavily on the infrastructure of established cloud service providers (AWS) so we can focus on actual development.
