Charge at home rates when on the move
Recharging for 0.28 CHF/kWh at selected locations
The AMAG Group has introduced a new charging tariff from 2025. At all public charging stations of the AMAG Group, in AMAG car parks and at participating partners, the kWh of electricity purchased with your chargeON charging card/app now costs just 28 cents. This makes charging on the road cheaper than charging at home in many places.
The promotion is available at around 220 public charging stations, including around 60 fast-charging stations with charging capacities of over 150 kW. This offer is valid for all drivers of AMAG brands (VW, Audi, Seat, Skoda, Cupra, VW Commercial Vehicles) incl. Porsche and is expected to be valid until 31 December 2025 for charging with the chargeON charging card and app.

The high-voltage battery of an electric car lasts between 12 and 20 years, depending on use. A lifetime of 300,000 to 450,000 km with around 1000 to 1500 charging cycles is currently assumed. If the battery is used in a state of charge of between 20 and 80 percent, it has a positive effect on the lifespan.
Switzerland already has one of the world's densest charging networks for electric vehicles. autoSense offers over 98% coverage in Switzerland with over 15,000 charging points, and over 600,000 charging points across Europe.
In the short term, i.e. when purchased, electric cars are usually more expensive than combustion engines. In contrast, electric cars are cheaper in the long term. The reasons are lower energy and maintenance costs. Depending on the canton of residence, you also receive subsidies.
On average, a passenger car in Switzerland is driven less than 25 km per day. In Europe, 80% of vehicles are driven less than 100 km per day. In Switzerland, the most frequently sold electric vehicles have a range of 350-600 km. The Volkswagen Group uses the latest generation of electric platforms. The ID7 recently set a long-distance record: On a test tour in Switzerland, it had a range of 794 kilometers on one battery charge.
