My name is Saloni and I am studying political science at the University of Zurich. I worked at autoSense as an HR assistant and in the marketing team for five weeks.

During this time, I've discovered a lot about the world of digital marketing and business as a whole. But I've not only improved my skills and understanding of marketing and business, but I've also learned what it means to be part of a startup.

One of the best parts of working in a startup is that it gives you the opportunity to work in a solid and motivating atmosphere. At autoSense, I've recognized that each team member contributes individually and in different ways, but ultimately they all work together as a team. Constant communication was always available through weekly meetings or short conversations in progress.

Creativity and innovation are at the heart of autoSense's mentality, and therefore the work culture is also based on positive relationships that promote development and productivity. When I had questions or needed help, the team was always there to help and support me. I found it very easy to work with the team as everyone can be relaxed one moment and focused the next.

I always wanted to help people in some way through my work, and autoSense offered me just that opportunity. Working at autoSense has made me realize that it feels good to be involved in important business decisions and to help shape new ideas.

All in all, it was very interesting to learn from the autoSense team. I would never have been able to acquire many of the knowledge they shared with me in an academic course. I've been geared towards a real work environment, which will really help me in my future career.
