The association “helfen helfen® Schweiz” has set itself the goal of supporting emergency organizations in their challenging activities, as these are being increasingly affected, at the scene of an accident, when used on the roads. autoSense finds this commitment a good cause and supports the association with the appropriate fleet solution free of charge to manage the cars in use.

When two people talk about everything possible late at night after a large-scale operation, exciting ideas often arise. According to Nils Winterhalter, this is exactly how the association “helfen helfen® Schweiz” was created. Nils has been actively involved with the association since September 2021 and is responsible for finances and accounting. He is currently studying business administration at the University of Zurich and is completing his master's degree in 2 years.

That night, the idea of an organization was born which supports the work of emergency and rescue workers through media campaigns. The stated aim was to raise awareness among the Swiss population with the help of these campaigns. A first, very successful campaign was what we are seeing implemented on motorways today: rescue lanes. These are created automatically today. Raising awareness has worked, the behavior of car drivers has adapted. Close cooperation with associations, state institutions and the emergency and rescue organizations themselves was and is decisive for the success.

But: The work of police, medical and fire departments is increasingly being affected by violence, threats and disabilities from the population. That's where the new campaign starts: #IMMERDA.

Always there for the population: the emergency services move out every 2 minutes to help people in need. Over 95% of all firefighters volunteer when things get dicey. Around the clock, 365 days a year.

Nils really likes working in the club. It is exciting and varied, and also meaningful. The association was also able to move into a new, larger office. Signs of growth and success in work. The association also has several vehicles available, provided by a partner. autoSense has equipped vehicles and club free of charge with the proven FleetPro fleet solution and for practical management of pool vehicles.

The autoSense tank solution, the first digital refueling solution via app in Switzerland, is also being used. It makes refueling (and charging in future) easier by activating the gas pump via app, cashless payment via app and billing directly into the app. For monthly expense reports, a pleasant relief and removal of paper and Excel.

We are convinced that the work of helfen helfen® Switzerland serves a good cause, as we are all perhaps reliant on ourselves and are certainly happy to have motivated and unhindered volunteers at the emergency response organizations, always there, for all of us.
