autoSense, a young company founded in June 2018 by the three investors Swisscom, AMAG and Zurich, is celebrating its 4th anniversary. The company now comprises a multicultural team of 22 employees in Switzerland and 14 developers in Sweden. And is doing very successfully!
autoSense is trusted by more than 250 corporate and fleet customers with a large number of managed fleet vehicles, a steadily growing number of car drivers who can access the ecosystem of 13 service providers via app. And now also to a small but constantly growing number of clients who have autoSense develop so-called white label apps.
It's been an exciting journey so far. The autoSense team has grown from an initial 4 people to almost 40 in total. The initial focus on technical functions and features such as logbook, location, engine status, battery charge level has been heavily supplemented in the last four years by practical and cost-saving great services. This includes the digital refueling solution, which can be used to activate and pay for the gas pump directly with the app. Switzerland's first kilometer-based insurance solution, the garage solution with AMAG for timely warning of major engine damage, and many more.
Our goal was and is more efficient and safer mobility, achieved by digitally connecting car drivers with their vehicles. According to our latest customer survey, over 78% of our users are already satisfied or very satisfied with autoSense. There is also a high level of trust in autoSense in terms of data security and data storage. autoSense can consistently continue along the path and further expand the mobility ecosystem for Swiss car drivers.
Important for previous success
Not everything works the way it was originally intended. Something else is better for that. It was important to be flexible, to recognize the opportunities and to consistently implement them.
The many feedback and shared experiences from our customers with the app were central. This enabled us to continuously develop and improve the product for all car drivers in Switzerland.
Ultimately, success depends on the team. autoSense has a stable management team, motivated employees and a great team spirit.
The most important milestones on our journey so far:

Outlook
The journey continues! At autoSense, we still have a lot of plans and a lot is already on our roadmap. This also includes the topics of electric mobility and eCharging, expanding coverage of the available refueling and charging network, other white label apps and much more.
Our goal remains to make mobility more efficient, safer and more comfortable overall. Swiss car drivers should be connected to their cars, share their data transparently with third parties if they wish, and thus be able to achieve direct added value and benefits in the future as well. We are looking forward to traveling together.
